Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pinduin (the "Service"), operated by Insitderp Consulting ("Pinduin", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Pinduin.
1. Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must give accurate registration details and let us know promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We aren't liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account. During our beta, access may be limited or offered from a waitlist.
2. Who can use Pinduin
Pinduin is intended for users 13 and older. By using the Service you confirm you meet this age requirement. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write — your journals, goals, posts, and comments ("Your Content"). You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it, that it isn't unlawful, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
By posting content to a shared space (a public board, a huddle, or a share with a contact), you grant Pinduin and the people you've shared with a non‑exclusive license to display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service. Private journal entries are not shared and are not licensed to anyone. You can stop sharing at any time; revoking a share removes it going forward.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes the behavior described in our Community Guidelines — no harassment, hateful or illegal content, spam, impersonation, scraping, attempts to break or overload the Service, or violating others' privacy or intellectual property. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms or put the community at risk.
5. AI features
Pinduin uses AI to power features like journaling reflections, prompts, and support. How your content is (and isn't) processed by AI — including our two‑lane model that keeps personal journals separate from public, cloud‑assisted features — is explained in our Privacy Policy. AI responses are for support and reflection only and are not professional, medical, legal, or mental‑health advice.
6. Paid services
Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions in the future. If we introduce them, pricing, billing, and renewal terms will be shown clearly before you purchase, and any subscription will renew only on the terms you agreed to until you cancel.
7. Third‑party links and services
The Service may link to or rely on third‑party websites and providers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
8. Intellectual property
The Pinduin name, logo, mascot, and the Service itself are owned by Insitderp Consulting and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our trademarks or proprietary content except as needed to use the Service.
9. Copyright (DMCA)
We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement and may remove content and terminate repeat infringers. To report infringement, contact [email protected].
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that AI output will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinduin and Insitderp Consulting won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
12. Termination
You may stop using Pinduin and delete your account at any time (Settings → Security → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms or to protect the Service and its community.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and revise the date above; continuing to use the Service means you accept the changes.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, except where local law requires otherwise. Questions about these Terms? Email [email protected].
