Meet Pinduin

Read about how others like you in our “waddle of Pindu’ers” are using Pinduin.

def. Pindu’ers: People like you that are pinduin it all day…erry day!
Disclaimer:  The following descriptions are not real people…or are they?  Is this you?

Meet Buddy
Buddy is in his first year study for a Doctor of Physical Therapy from San Francisco State University.  He is fanatic about sports and plays in a local baseball and basketball league with friends.  He was very active in intramural sports in college and as a trainer for the varsity men’s basketball and soccer teams.  His aspirations are to be a trainer for a professional team someday soon.

Buddy really enjoys helping people perform and get the most out of athletics and has a bunch of ideas about ways people can do that.  He is an experimenter, but he is the biggest test rabbit of his own experiments too so he has a lot of experience with learning.

Buddy likes using Pinduin as a better way of keeping all his ideas organized.  He likes to keep an idea journal and when he does an experiment with an idea then he pins the idea to his personal pinboard and tracks the progress of the experiment by checking off each time he follows up and even adding notes for stuff he really wants to remember about each follow up.

Do you have any ideas you would like to track?

Meet Peggy
Peggy is new to SoMa, San Francisco.  She just started her new dream job as a UX designer for a startup company that makes web and mobile apps for kids.  Peggy is really excited, but besides vacations and road trips, she has not really been anywhere and she left a lot of friends and family in her hometown where she grew up all her life.

Peggy has always been a techie and loved designing and creating things for her family and friends.  She made her first website for her dad’s Apple Farm business when she was 8 years old!  She loves her gadgets and is never without her laptop, or her iPad, or her Galaxy Note, or all 3.  She is nervous about her move, but knows she won’t be far from support since she always updates and keeps contact with friends and family through Facebook.

Peggy is curious about everything, so she is always up for trying new things.  She has a ton of things that she has started and wants to do and wants to finish, but it’s frustrating because there just isn’t enough time in a day…is there?

Peggy likes to use Pinduin to find new things to do, but she really likes finding new people to meet and new places to meet people.  Peggy likes to  make new pinboards where Pindu’ers can share their interests and meet others pinduin the same kinds of stuff.

Meet Abby
Abby is a student at NYU studying to be a teacher.  This is her senior year and she is both excited and nervous to be done with school.  She works at a daycare part-time and loves being around the kids.

Her other part-time job is hanging out with friends and family – which is a “job” because she is usually the one that has to make sure everyone gets where they gotta go and does what they gotta do – she is a really caring person.  Abby really enjoys “hangin’ at home”, but she also loves music so concerts or a cool bar with great music are “weekend musts”.

Abby is always on her Android smartphone listening to music and “coordinating”, but she really hates when she forgets to do some of her own “little things” and ends up never finishing some of her pet projects that she started and always dreamed of doing.

Abby uses Pinduin to keep an overview of all her little projects.  She likes the Pinduin news that gives her a summary of her recent projects and is a good reminder for her to follow up.

Meet Peter
Peter is a busy junior at West Side High school.  He is captain on the JV basketball team and also gets lots of playing time on the varsity squad too.  Besides basketball he splits his time as Class President, plays guitar, hanging with his little brother and friends, and is a full-time boyfriend.

Peter traveled a lot as a kid because his mom is a pretty well known genetics researcher that often worked and lectured in many different places all over the world like Tokyo, Berlin, Stockholm, London, Paris, and all over the US.  Since middle school though they have settled down in his dad’s small hometown and his mom is a professor at the local university.

Besides his family and girlfriend, Peter “loves” his iPhone!  He uses it for almost everything like keeping up with all his distant friends, showcasing his photos (he is a pretty good photographer too), but he mostly likes to use it to keep track of ideas, thoughts, and dreams he has of the past, present, and future.

Peter has big dreams and ambitions of making it big! Playing pro basketball is one of those dreams and he knows opportunity is all around him so he tries to find and use those opportunities when ever and where ever he can.

Peter uses Pinduin to track all the things he is doing that is related to family, friends, sports and school and to see where he is spending the most of his time.  He likes to compete too so he really likes the Ten Thousand Club aka 10K Club, where he pins all of his sports and school related task cards to see how quickly he can reach the top.  Peter and his friends like to see who is at the top among their friends and give each other a little extra push to keep each other going strong.  They have some good competitions going on.

Start Pinduin today and show Peter and and his friends some Luv for the task cards they are duin!
