- Communication: Actually good communication is more correct, but no matter what, you will need to be able to communicate your dreams and goals to be able to achieve them. Even if it is a personal goal, you have to be able to know what you want to do and be able to effectively communicate that and make it visible to yourself.
- Community: Your family, friends, classmates, co-workers, professors, teachers, coaches, bosses, mailman, cable guy, or whoever else is in your world is important for you to achieve your dreams. You are part of a world of people and opportunities that can help you achieve your dreams, but only you can ask for their help. Pinduin is your community for getting stuff done.

Pinduin has taken these important factors, some life lessons, and our name and mascot, from a sweet, little, fairly harmless and seemingly very cuddly looking bird called the penguin.
Yeah, we took them from the penguin! Penguins are these birds that can not fly and many of them live in rather extreme climates. That is two pretty big life challenges as a bird! And humans are also a little like the penguin too: We don’t fly and we also live in rather “extreme climates” – like when we can’t get enough bars on our phone!
Anyway, penguins rely on their community, called a waddle – a flock or colony of penguins, in order to survive. They gather food together and rely on each other to take care of each other’s children and family. And since they all pretty much look alike in their waddles they must rely on really good communication skills too. The penguin’s dream: “Survival. I want to live a happy life.” The penguin gets help from their waddle (community – a good social structure) and uses good communication in order to achieve their life dreams.
